We are trying to take the wallpaper off of our kitchen walls and it is a nightmare. Does anyone have some tips to make it easier?
There are 2 layers of paper which I think has been there since the house was built in the 1980’s.
I have read answers on here about using a steamer, a water/vinegar mix, and using a water/fabric softener mix….. which method is better. Or do you have an even better idea.
I have just removed a border from my painted wall, it looks like a glue was used rather than paste, I have tried a steamer, chemical stripper, fabric softener solution, to no avail! Someone has now suggested sugar soap with a scrubbing brush, anyone had any success with this, or is sanding my last and only option
i’ve heard all kinds of ways to remove wallpaper from people who have heard it from some t.v. show BUT who has actually used one of those methods ie. fabric softener, steamer….etc. with success?
